Who I am and what I do

I’ve loved drawing and creating since I was in Kindergarten. For me creating something to express myself and my thoughts is the most valuable part of my artwork. I pride myself in making work that tells a story through my work.

My Art

I am a neurodivergent queer person and I often have elements of my identity incorporated into my artwork. I draw my experiences so others can feel seen. When I was little there wasn’t a lot of media that made me feel seen, I don’t want anyone else to feel forgotten so I create work for a broad range of people.

My History

I’ve been drawing for years before going to Ringling to get classical art training. I’ve had multiple commissions and volenteer opportunities aswell to further my education and work with clients. In these experiences I’ve learned to be quick and efficient in my own work aswell as teamwork.

experience

  • I've volunteered with multiple arts programs that teach kids. I worked as an assistant to help kids learn and grow their creativity through arts and crafts. I’ve volunteered at BARN (Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network) and Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreation.

    At BARN I volenteered in multiple kids classes including welding, Art and Painting, and Bronze Jewelry. working with age ranges 10-13. While there I personally assisted mutiple children both individualy and in groups. Mainly assisting with getting materials and helping with technical aspects the children couldnt complete themselves.

  • I graduated highschool a year early inorder to fast track my dream of going to art school. Wich I am currently in at Ringling College of Art and Design. I’m majoring in illustration with a minor in gender and sexuality studies. I love to learn and have been in several different college programs to further my learning.

    Including but not limited to Jhon cabot university, University of Washington, and Olympic College. Each experiance helped me understand and challenge diffrent workflows and school systems.

  • I’ve been drawing since I could properly control my hands. Starting from there i grew to love the practice and creating art. in the begining i was only self taught and mainly taught myself through the other artists i admired online. thats what started getting me into storytime animators and graphic novels.

    After the growing love for stories I began wanting to create my own. I love to create my own stories and artwork. I first published a book at age 13, having worked on it for the previous year. That started my love for story telling that i’m bringing to newer projects and stories I’m creating.
